Only days after the World Series of Poker, Jeffrey Pollack has announced that hes leaving his post as commissioner of the WSOP. Jeffrey Pollack is the flamboyant character with the glasses, who is the main representative for the Harrah’s popular poker tournament championship.

Pollack tells the AP that leaving is “bittersweet,” but he believes his goals at the series have been accomplished.

Jeffrey was once a director of NASCAR and Vice President of the NBA. Jeffrey has not stated where he is going after this.

Did he get sick of all the poker brats? This is very odd to do this right after the final table of the WSOP. Perhaps he wanted to quit long ago, but had to wait months for the November 9? Isn’t that ironic? Is this part of a bigger shake up thats about to happen with the World Series of Poker?
Maybe this has something to do with having to turn away players on day 1d….
