Jonathan Duhamel is a Canadian born professional poker player, born in 1987 is from the city of Boucherville. Like many young poker players Jonathan Duhamel has made a decision like many before him have, to leave school. Jonathan has decided to pursue his dream of winning millions and will get his shot come November 9 when the 2010 World Series of Poker resumes play.

Jonathan Duhamel will enter 2010 November 9 with the chip lead for essentially four months, his play at this years WSOP has been nothing less then stellar. In just two days he chipped up from 4 million to over 60 million. Looks like Jonathan’s choice to leave a finance major in college has paid off so for considering the fact he will be sitting at the final table with a chance at a bracelet and the cash that goes with it.

Duhamel’s day 7 was pretty special, he came in at 17 on the leaderboard with 4.30 million in chips and in just a few hours later it ballooned to nine million. By the end of day 8, Jonathan would have a healthy chip lead over the rest of the November 9. Duhamel finished 15th in as $2,500 No Limit Hold’em tournament at the 2010 WSOP prior to his deep run in the Main Event. He established credibility by taking $37,000 in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event, he finished 50th and earned nearly $6,000.

Jonathan Duhamel has proven he is a force in professional poker, you don’t just end up in what some would call the playoffs of poker without excellent play, and knocking of the elite getting there. Jonathan Duhamel at age 23 has crossed the border in hopes of winning it all.
