The sounds of slot machines ringing in a winner weren’t the only excitement that was happening in Las Vegas over the weekend. On Saturday, music mogul Suge Knight, was caught on tape getting into a heated brawl at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas. Knight, age 45, is co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records. Knight has done two stints in prison for a probation violation in 1996 and another for violating his parole by assaulting a parking lot attendant in 2003. He was released on parole again, and is in danger of facing another prison term.
It has also been rumored that he was responsible for the deaths of Tupac Shakur in 1996 and east coast hip hop artist Notorious BIG in 1997. Death Row Records sales declined after his second incarceration and the label eventually went bankrupt.
One of the last casino fights that Suge Knight participated in while visiting Vegas was in September 1996, when Tupac Shakur was killed in a drive by shooting. Police were called to the scene at the Aria Casino during the weekend event. However, no arrests were made.
