Pot Limit Omaha games have often been the highest stakes poker games found online, and today was no different. Some of the highest stakes players came out to play on five different tables of $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha on Full Tilt Poker, with a $16,000 cap. Di Dang screen name ‘Urindanger’ , Cole South, Alexander Kostrisyn screen name ‘PostflopAction’ , Jani Vilmunen, and ‘NEKOTYAN’ all sat for some of the biggest action found online. Out first hand of the session came when Kostritsyn dodged Vilmunen’s straight draw to take this hand worth more than $35,000.

In this hand, aces held up for a big pot for ‘SxMxF.’

‘LokoIsBack’ took the next hand, dodging the straight draw of Cole South.

Another pot got capped in this hand, where Cole South took a pot from Alexander ‘PostflopAction’ Kostritsyn.

Jani Vilmunen lost another capped pot for a large amount of money in this hand, this time to high stakes regular ‘PixKim.’

The quick paced action didn’t stop there, as ‘Icre84U’ took this hand from Kostritsyn for over $30,000.

Cole South turned the nut flush to win this pot from Di Dang, taking a pot worth more than $30,000.

Dang got some revenge on the game, however, winning this big hand from ‘Icre84U.’

It is rare to see these games get a pot capped before the flop. It is even rarer to see that happen between three different players, which is exactly what happened in this hand. Alexander Kostritsyn made a flush to take this massive pot worth nearly $50,000.

Cole South took more from Di Dang in this hand with a straight.

The loser of the days session was Full Tilt Red Pro Jani Vilmunen. Winners saw Di Dang, Cole South, and Alexander Kostritsyn all leave the tables as six figure winners.

Steve Sung loses $580k in PL Omaha

With the usual heavy action on Full Tilt’s 200/400 Pot limit Omaha tables, six figure downswings are pretty much the norm for players at these limits. Steve Sung is on one of the worst downswings lately. He has lost over $580,000 in PLO sessions last week. On his pokerroad blog, he wrote “Especially when I’m playing the 200/400 plo tired and/or drunk, it can get extremely scary…” Tom Dwan was up over $150k in the beginning of the week, but ended down $50K after 70 hours of play.

Tom Dwan had another huge night at Full Tilt Poker. He put in more than 20 hours of play at the high stakes cash games under the alias Durrrr and ended the sessions with nearly $1 million profit. This is quite possibly his biggest upswing so far as he is now up over $1.6 million in total winnings from Pot Limit Omaha. He’s been running very hot lately and the chips seem to keep coming his way. With this victory, he has jumped to 3rd spot among this years PLO leaders, just under David Benyamine (+$2.5 million) and Icallsowhat (+$3.5 million).

Tom Dwan and Lady Marmelade down a combined 1.5 million in Pot Limit Omaha in one week.

On Full Tilt Poker (April 27 to May 4), the biggest winners in the Pot Limit Omaha cash games were OMGClayaiken aka. Phil Galfond (+$480k) and Chufty (+$440k).
