Wednesday night saw more high stakes, anted Pot Limit Omaha action on Full Tilt Poker. Full Tilt Poker Pros Richard Ashby, and Cole South joined high stakes regulars ‘rospodin,’ ‘theASHMAN103,’ and ‘tsarrast,’ in some of the highest stakes games on the net. As always, the high stakes PLO game saw a lot of preflop action with frequent three bets and consistent action post flop. ‘theASHMAN103’ and Richard Ashby seemed to be the big winners as we joined action, sitting with $150,000 and $85,000 respectively. The first big pot we saw was a pot worth over $35,000 going towards ‘rospodin’ when he get all his money in on the flop against ‘theASHMAN103.’

‘KObyTAPOUT’ joined the game, but wasn’t welcomed with opening arms. On the flop of the following hand, all the money went in the middle, and when it was all added up the pot was worth over $80,000. While Cole South found himself against the nut straight on the turn, a heart on the river put him on top and collecting the pot.

Shortly after, the game became five handed when ‘HarrisMP’ joined in, buying in for a short stack of only $20,000. With the two Full Tilt Pros at the table being the two big winners, Cole South and Richard Ashby seemed to tighten their game and let the other three players pick up a few smaller pots. South left the game shortly after, leaving it four handed. The shorter stacks got it on, however, when they got all the money in on the following hand, with ‘tsarrast’ topping ‘HarrisMP.’

‘KObyTAPOUT’ wont he final hand of the evening by leading out for over $4k in a heads up pot against ‘Richard Ashby.’

Throughout the night, it seemed as though ‘theASHMAN103,’ Cole South, and Richard Ashby seemed to be the winners on the night, all taking home prizes of over $50,000.

Full Tilt Poker saw a big $200/$400 game running Wednesday, with some of the biggest and best PLO players participating. This was a new form of the game, as the new high limit PLO tables came with an ante of $70 to go along with the $200 and $400 blinds. Some of the biggest players in the game including Full Tilt Poker Pros Niki Jedlicka, Gus Hansen, Patrik Antonius, and Cole South were joined by notable online powerhouses Phil Galfond aka ‘OMGClayAiken’, ‘LarsLuzak,’ Tom Dwan aka Durrrr, and ‘theASMAN103.’ The first big pot played saw ‘theASHMAN103’ take a pot worth over ‘HarrisMP’ in the following hand.

Soon after, ‘theASHMAN103’ left the table, leaving the action to the rest of the table. Patrik Antonius wasted little to no time in getting in on the action as he made a raise on the river on the following hand against Niki Jedlicka.

Gus Hansen won a monster pot in a three way all in situation to win over $125,000 in the following hand.

‘LarsLuzak’ won the next real big hand, another three way all in situation where queens were good enough to defeat ‘HarrisMP’ and Niki Jedlicka.

The game slowed down a touch as the preflop action became smaller and slower. Three bets preflop became rarer, while post flop action slowed as well. With the biggest names in the game, however, and players such as Patrik Antonius and Tom Dwan at the table, the action was sure to resume eventually, and it did so in a big way. To end the session, Patrik Antonius took the biggest pot of the session, worth over $110,000 turning a set of kings against ‘LarzLuzak’ and Tom Dwan.

Dwan, Antonius, and Hansen were the big winners of the session, while players like South and Jedlicka saw themselves as losers on the session of the big game.

Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius resumed high stakes poker action in the Durrrr Challenge. Patrik Antonius has been out of commission with an unknown virus and is sitting out first 2/3 of WSOP.
He did interview recently with Poker News and looks good as always. It looks as though this hiatus is affecting his poker play as he had a major downswing VS Tom Dwan over last couple of days. Mr B 2 U Son takes on _fullflush1_ heads up at Full Tilt Poker. Lukas Schwartz aka _fullflush1_ has been running his mouth all other the web saying hes the best in the world. I’ve watched him play and I don’t think that’s the case, but he sure can hang with the best of them. Yesterday he took on David Benyamine aka Mr B 2 U Son and today he 6 screen multi tabled Di Dang (pronounced zee) Urindanger heads up in 100/200 NL Holdem.

Yesterday he did not fair so well against David Benyamine (degenamine), but after degenamine took off Lukas held his own vs Urindanger and Patrik Antonius. Lukas Schwartz’s skill so far is his ability to spot betting patterns. When he was in Monte Carlo in the 25k event, he was describing each pro’s attributes when being interviewed and seemed to have them pegged. The attention in Two Plus Two and other forums has turned to him as people really love or hate him. Some want to jump on his bandwagon now in case Durrrr goes broke, they won’t have anyone to cheer for or hate…
