Crazy Action with Durrrr and Isildur1

Posted by Poker Videos on November 27th, 2009

Carzy Action is the name of a 300/600 Pot Limit Omaha at Full Tilt Poker. Sounds like a good name for a table with Tom Dwan aka durrrr, Viktor Blom aka Isildur1, and Trex313…

durrrr 500k stack

I started watching late (around 3a.m.), and Isildur1 had around 300k already. Tony G sat for a minute and left, then Durrrr sat down, and then soon after Trex313 and Tonyg leave. Immediately, durrrr loses a 30k buyin to isildur1. Then within 5 minutes durrrr would double up. Durrrr would felt readyforwwar3. Durrrr would then continue to dominate the $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha table and force the table to practice avoidance and leave. Durrrr would end up with almost all the money that was on the table before he sat including Isildur1’s $300k stack. It would seem Durrrr was his old self again.

isildur1 six screens
Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 on 6 heads up screens

Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 and Tom Dwan aka Durrrr would then face each other on 2 $500 / $1000 Pot Limit Omaha tables at once, and Isildur1 would also play Patrik Antonius on 4 screens of $500 / $1000 Pot Limit Omaha heads up tables as well. Durrrr would seem to almost play scared in the $500 / $1000 heads up rooms. Durrrr seemed to be in his comfort zone 6 handed or 4 handed $300 $600, but he would soon start giving back all the chips that he just won from Isildur1.

durrrr loses huge pot

In my humble poker opinion, I think durrrr needs to seriously
sit back and think about his strategy VS Isildur1. I don’t think he is going to win his money back playing a loose style
VS Viktor. I seldom believe in using small ball technique, but I think this would be extremely effective against the aggressive tendencies of Isilidur1. But then again, Phil Ivey is winning VS Isildur1, and hes not using small ball… Or perhaps Durrrr should retreat from $500 / $1000 pot limit Omaha and build up his bankroll again by playing other players in $300 / $600 NL Holdem short handed.

Patrik Antonius would take a beating from Isildur1 as well, dropping nearly 2 million to him in a couple of days.

Brian Townsend aka sbrugby would be the next Full Tilt Poker red pro to take on Isildur1. Brian would win $1.1 million from Isildur1 and leave to Isildur1’s dismay.

So far Viktor Blom is down to Phil Ivey, Ilari Sahamies, Brian Townsend, and Patrik Antonius.

Isildur1 VS Phil Ivey part III

Posted by Poker Videos on November 23rd, 2009

Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 would continue to take a shot at the best poker player in the world. This time; he would have an advantage over Ivey by playing him on three screens at once. Ivey doesn’t like to play poker heads up on more than 2 at once.

Isildur VS Phil IVey

Isildur1 set over set
Viktor fades the Ace and the heart

Phil was obviously uncomfortable on 3 screens and even stated it was making him dizzy.

Phil Ivey: head is dizzy
Phil Ivey: only going to play 2 for a bit
Isildur1: ok

Dealer: Isildur1 shows two pair, Jacks and Sixes
Dealer: Isildur1 wins the pot ($278,995.50) with two pair, Jacks and Sixes

Phil Ivey: another 10 min 3 screen break lol
System: The $2,000 Guarantee ($24+$2 Stud H/L) will be starting in 5 minutes.
Isildur1: ok hehe

Isildur1 would go on to win the second biggest pot in online poker history. Viktor Blom wins $1.2 million pot.

1.2 million online poker pot

Isildur1: i am to tired to play only 2 tables
Isildur1: sry
Isildur1: i go to sleep else
Phil Ivey: have a goodnight

Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 would end up getting the best Ivey, taking over 1.5 million from him!
So Viktor has to clear pick his battles, he can’t beat Patrik Antonius , Tom Dawn aka durrrr, and Phil Ivey all at the same time. It does seem, that he has a chance if he plays each one individually.

Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 loses $1.3 million dollar pot

Posted by Poker Videos on November 21st, 2009

Patrik Antonius just won the biggest online poker pot in history at $1.3 million on Full Tilt Poker 1,356,946.50 to be exact. Patrick had KK in what was heavy 4 bet betting pre flop, he floped the wheel with his A3KK double suited, and got all his chips in VS the aggressive Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 who was open ended. Patrik faded the junk and won the biggest pot in the history of online poker.

ACTION SHOT
1.3 million pot

Pot Limit Omaha is the likely game that would set the record for the biggest online poker pot. Pot Limit Omaha is the most volatile game with the most variance or swings. this would allow both players to build up massive stacks. There is also allot of bluffing and semi bluffs, and sometimes people fold second nuts, Patrik new he was against maniac, and was heavily invested, and called with the second nuts, and was correct in calling.

Isildur1 had put a horrible suck out on Phil Ivey in what was the 3rd biggest pot in online poker at 827k (if I’m correct). Ivey soon regained his losses, and is in the lead as I write this.

So Patrik Antonius made to records tonight, one for the largest online poker pot in history, and the other for largest stack on any poker online table at $2.1 million.

The sharks are swimming around Viktor Blom and taking large chunks out of his stack:
Isildur1 loses big

Viktor will not be able to keep up with these losses, and will soon have to retreat, or be devoured.

Isildur1 VS Patrik Antonius and Phil Ivey (Team Full Tilt) Part 2

Viktor Blom aka Isildur1 continues his epic poker battle versus Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius. Missing fro the mix was Tom Dwan aka durrrr, who I believe was playing live yesterday. Viktor Blom… What does this kid say when hes sees his friends on Friday night? Hes 19 or 20 years old and is playing the top pros in the world for the highest stakes. What exactly does he say when he visits the local poker game when the kids his age ask what hes been up to? Oh I was just playing Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, and Patrik Antonius at $500/$1000 NL on 8 screens simultaneously. ???

This is pretty surreal if you ask me. Tom Dwan just gets signed to what is probably one of the biggest deals in sports history, then all of a sudden a kid from Sweden comes to battle not only Tom, but the top echelon of the high stakes playing team members all at once.

Viktor played just Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius, and when I started to watch, Ivey had a stack of $1.1 million on one screen and around $400k on another. Viktor had Patrik on 3 screens, and Viktor had around $600k on one screen, $400k on another, and both had $300k on the 3rd.

Phil Ivey seems to be really polite to the young Swedish player, and probably views him as a “producer” or “customer”. Phil has a big betting pattern tell on the young Swede, and is exploiting it every chance he gets.

6 Screens
isildur1 vs phil ivey

Ivey would have over a million (5 buy ins) from Isildur1 on one screen, and around 956k on the other at one point.

Phil Ivey with $1.3 million stack

Phil would be inching toward million on 2 screens,
until Isildur1 would river a 3 on this board all in:

Phil would leave shortly after this hand up well over a million dollars for the second day in a row VS Viktor Blom aka Isildur1. I really think Phil is able to spot luck trends happening, and hes really superstitious. I think he saw that 3 on the river as an omen to stop play for the evening and retreat to regroup.

Patrik would be behind until Phil was crushing Viktor, could it be Isildur1 has tendency to tilt on multiple screens? Patrik was down about 6 or 7 buy-ins until Ivey was winning big, then Patrik
got almost all of them back. Patrik’s stacks were getting larger by the 1/2 hour and nearing a million on one screen. Then after Ivey left, Isildur1 began to crush Antonius again.

This hand would end up being one of the largest online pots in poker history:

Patrik chose to keep playing rather than stop after he got all his money back. He was looking to strike a death blow on the young Swede and take his roll. This proved to be a mistake, and Viktor took over the game.
