Today was not Tom Dwan ’s ‘durrrr’ day at the $500/$1000 No Limit Hold ‘em table on Full Tilt Poker. You can read about the most important hands of the heads-up game vs. ‘IAMSoSo’ right here on pokerbloggs.com.

One of the first important hands was won by durrrr after an all-in from IamSoSo which he insta-called. The flop brought A - K - 6 and both players hit the Ace, but durrrr had a better kicker (A6 vs A9). After the all-in on the flop, durrrr called and actually hit a 9, which made him win the pot ($95k) with 2 pair.

At the 6 handed high stakes poker table is Allen Cunningham and Eric Liu. Allen raises to $600.00 and Eric Liu reraises him to 2k. Allen Cunningham then four bets him to $5,800! Eric Liu re-raises to $12,600 and in what I think is a questionable raise, Allen raises to 29k. I think this is defiantly a tourny play. The only thing that calls him here is AA KK or AK, so why not just call the 12k and see what the flop is? Eric Liu then leaves the table in disgust as I would.

Steve Sung loses $580k in PL Omaha

With the usual heavy action on Full Tilt’s 200/400 Pot limit Omaha tables, six figure downswings are pretty much the norm for players at these limits. Steve Sung is on one of the worst downswings lately. He has lost over $580,000 in PLO sessions last week. On his pokerroad blog, he wrote “Especially when I’m playing the 200/400 plo tired and/or drunk, it can get extremely scary…” Tom Dwan was up over $150k in the beginning of the week, but ended down $50K after 70 hours of play.
