Pokerstars has announced today that it has signed the enigmatic high stakes poker player Viktor Blom screen name Isildur1. Isildur1 is famous for dominating the Ipoker network under the screen name Blom90, then attempting to clean out all the top pros at Full Tilt Poker. Fortunately for them Patrik Antonius, Brian Hastings and Phil Ivey were able to break him before he would have cleaned out Tom Dwan screen name durrrr. Viktor Blom reigns from Sweden and is occasionally seen playing in the WSOPE. Isildur1 is famous for his aggressive style and multitabling 6-8 screens of heads up poker at once. It is said that he is one of the top 3 heads up NL Holdem players in the world. The only problem is that he loves to play Pot Limit Omaha which is a game known for it’s extreme variance and that lead to his ultimate demise. But now it appears he has a lucrative contract with Pokerstars and is back on the scene. Does this mean an inevitable multi site match between Tom Dwan aka Durrrr and Viktor Blom aka Isildur1?

Brian Hastings would be the benefactor of the sickest session in online poker history. He would make $3,234,543.20 in just under 5 hours. This works out to $646,908.64 / hour and $1,261 per hand over 2565 hands. All the hands were in Pot Limit Omaha and were against Viktor Blom aka Isildur1, and played on 6 screens simultaneously. Isildur1 would be on major tilt, while at the same time running bad.

It could be that Brian Hastings was staked by Brian Townsend and Cole South, but that is just a guess. Or they may have pooled all their money together to take on the Swede. Regardless, It doesn’t look like Isildur1 will be able to play $500 1000 for quite some time. On the other hand, It looks like Brian Hastings will be shopping for a new ride and some threads in the next day or two. This will go down as one of the greatest heads up poker matches in the history of poker.

Brian Hastings is currently taking on Viktor Blom aka isildur1 at Full Tilt Poker, in what will go down as one of the most epic poker matches of all time. I was watching Brian make bluffs versus the unbluffable
Isildur1, and every other wrong move he could make. Brian was down over a million in an hour. They went to 6 screens after Isildur1 pleaded for 2 more tables, and then things went haywire. In one hour, Brian would get to past 1 million on 3 screens and have over $4 million on 6 screens combined.

The high stakes tables have been buzzing this month at Full Tilt Poker and the top five winners so far this month should come as a surprise to none. Chau Giang poker screen name La Key U is fifth on the list, winning $217,897 this month. Sami Kelopuro AKA LarsLuzark has been in the news quite a bit lately with his return to high stakes action online. He ranks #4 so far this month with $383,021 in winnings. Brian Hastings is up nearly $493,075 this month and ranks 3rd. Patrik Antonius comes in at the #2 spot with $825,869 in winning this month. The biggest money winner this month is the man, Phil Ivey. Phil Ivey has won $992,398 so far this month.

The biggest losers this month are just as interesting. David Benyamine comes in at #5 in our list of losers at $233,313 in the red. Matt Hawrilenko is #4 with $333,959 lost so far this month. Regista8 is in 3rd, losing $450,703 this month. John Juanda is donating back some of his WSOP Europe Main Event winnings to the poker community. He is down $732,597 so far, but he still doesn’t hold a candle to our top loser of the month. Lady Marmelade has lost a whopping $1,154,702 this month. This just compounds her overall losses. Right now, Lady Marmelade has lost over $2.68 Million this year in online poker.

The biggest pots won this month have all come courtesy of the RailHeaven table at Full Tilt Poker. RailHeaven can be considered the new Bobby’s Room of online poker. As expected Tom Dwan poker screen name durrrr was involved in many of the largest pots. In fact, he was in six of the top 10 pots so far this month. The largest was the 2nd largest pot of the month against lolzcapano. Pre-flop, durrrr made his typical raise to $3,000 and was called along by both John Juanda and Phil Ivey. Lolcapaneo raised to $16,500 and only durrrr made the call. The flop fell 3h-10c-7c and lolzcapaneo bet out $27,500. Durrrr made the call. On the turn of the Kd, lolzcapaneo bet out $46,500 and durrrr made the call yet again. The river fell the 5d and lolzcapaneo bet out $119,577. Durrrr made the call and showed pocket sevens for a set of sevens. Lolzcapaneo showed pocket jacks and durrrr took down a pot worth $428,151.
