I had a remarkable day of poker on Sunday night. On Saturday I lost $1600.00 playing 10 20 limit Holdem early in the day. Later that day I bubbled after a 35k lead in the Pokerstars super deeps Stacks Horse event. I hade over 98k in chips and managed to finish 11th. But Sunday things really went my way. I entered a $26.00 Sat. to the Sunday main event. It had 74 players in it and yours truly (Greektycoon) took it down! I had a couple hours to relax before main event. I was tired from the 4 hours or so it took me to win the sat. event. As we started the 200.00 main event I noticed Andy Bloch, Miami John Cernuto, Aaron Bartley, Premier, Micon and several other top pros were in the tourny! I broke away from the start only to be let down by losing with nut strait to river quads in Omaha hi low….
Then I lost another monster pot to a 2 on the river when I had the nut low! I recovered and broke away from the pack again. I climbed to 28k in chips and was in number one spot. I then began to play tight and drifted down to 8th place behind Andy Bloch. I was short stack at final table with 8500
in chips when bets were 2k 4k. It was sick! I remained calm and folded many hands many amatuers would go broke on like a3 33 in holdem in position. I finished in 4th place and took home $2360.00 from an initial investment of 26$!
