Jeff Lisandro is red hot in the 2009 WSOP! He just won his 3rd bracelet of the series making this one of the greatest poker accomplishments of all time. He just beat Full Tilt Poker blogger and writer Michael Craig heads up in Event 44 – $2,500 Seven Card Razz. Jeff Lisandro dominated the final table with a monster stack to earn his 4th bracelet and 3rd this year. Jeff Lisandro came to the final table with double the next highest stack with 814,000 in chips.
Seat 1 – Michael Craig 343,000
Seat 2 – Warwick Mirzikinian 271,000
Seat 3 – Steve Diano 96,000
Seat 4 – Allen Bari 55,000
Seat 5 – Ryan Fisler 412,000
Seat 6 – Jeff Lisandro 814,000
Seat 7 – Kenna James 210,000
Seat 8 – Eric Rodawig 171,000

Lisandro is silently becoming one of the greatest players of all time with over $4,000,000 in tournament winnings. Will Jeff Lisandro take down the 50k H.O.R.S.E next? This would undoubtedly be in the top five of all time poker achievements if he takes a 4th bracelet of the series in either the main event or the 50k H.o.r.s.e.. And btw, I had him as my a list choice in the Full Tilt Poker fantasy league! I think I had Michael Craig picked for my list and changed at last second
. Micheal comes up with a big second place win that is much deserved. The $116k prize will help ease the pain of not taking 1st.
Good Luck to Jeff Lisandro to win his 4th of the series!

Phil Ivey wins event 8 No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw in the 2009 World Series of Poker. Obviously, Phil Ivey only played in this event to win the bracelet. Why else would he play in an event where 1st place prize of 96k is less than 1 buy in on Pot limit omaha? Phil Ivey would defeat a field of 147 to take down the bracelet and win his alleged side bets. Phil is alleged to have 10 million riding on winning his sixth bracelet in this years WSOP! Thats $10,000,000.00! If this is true that is sick!

Phil Ivey’s other bracelets include:
2000 Pot Limit Omaha
2002 Seven Card Stud Hi Low
2002 S.H.O.E
2002 Seven Card Stud
2005 Pot Limit Omaha
and now
2009 No Limit Deuce to Seven Draw
In 2002 he won an amazing 3 bracelets! This is one of the greatest poker accomplishments of all time.
Just John Monnette and Phil would remain of the 147 players. Phil Ivey was playing the visibly shaken tournament grinder and using his trademark stares. John Monnette is won of the more humble players and has almost come to accept he is dead money and his friends often make fun of him for it. Now he would take on the great Phil Ivey in a David Vs Goliath match for the WSOP Bracelet. Just dead money grinder with little self confidence standing between Ivey and $10,096,000. Phil Ivey would take out John Monnette and snatch the Monnette and the bracelet. Full Tilt Poker will be very happy to see their top pro bring a bracelet home. Now he can go count de Monnette, its good to be the King!
