Eric Buchman is one of the more experienced live tournament poker players out of the November 9, and one used to high pressure moments of the World Series of Poker. To date, Buchman has $967,199 in live tournament earnings, making him one of the top performers amongst the November Nine.

Including the Main Event, Buchman has 10 WSOP cashes to his credit along with two final tables. His first final table was also his best WSOP finish to date. In 2006,
Buchman finished runner-up in Event #4, $1,500 Limit Holdem. The event was the largest Limit Holdem field in the history of the WSOP. His other final table was earlier in this WSOP when he finished 6th Event #25, ½ Omaha 8 ½ Stud 8. Phil Ivey eventually took the event for his 2nd bracelet of the 2009 WSOP.

Buchman has also had success in both the WSOP Circuit and the US Poker Championships. Buchman finished 2nd in the 2007 Circuit Main Event at Harrah’s Atlantic City. He took home $208,666 for his finish. Buchman also has two final tables at the US Poker Championships. One of those was a 3rd place finish in the 2002 USPC Main Event. That was the year John Hennigan defeated Erik Seidel for the title.

Buchman has one win to his credit. He took down the 2004 New England Poker Classic Main Event for $275,000. Buchman is skilled in multiple disciplines of poker with numerous cashes in NL Holdem, Limit Holdem, 7 Card Stud, Stud 8 or Better, and Omaha Hi-Lo.

Regardless of his finish, the Main Event final table will be Buchman’s biggest cash to date. With his aggressive nature and prior experience, Buchman should be among the favorites once play resumes in November.
