An interview just after the event showed him almost taken back by his win. He stated that at one point, during the tournament, he was down to $1.8M out of $31M. He was happy to pull the win from “holding a couple lucky cards” and “avoiding some cards”.

In addition to his “live” poker career, he is also well-known in the on-line poker world. Mainly, as screen name “livb112″ on Full Tilt Poker and also screen name “Adonis112″ on PokerStars. As a matter of fact, his poker career began online. After that, he found he could play online and started on partypoker.com. From there, he moved to Full Tilt. He made a small deposit of $100 playing $1/$2 six-max cash. He played a lot on FTP and researched a lot on TwoPlusTwo.com. From there, his perserverance and research paid off as he gradually moved up in stakes.

Busquet typically fancies the heads-up sit-n-goes when playing online. He’s stated that he likes the competitive aspect. His longest session was back when he was still playing cash games and it lasted about 40 hours! He describes himself as an aggressive, analytical, alert, thoughtful and unpredictable poker player. He aspires to play someday play against the top pros including Full Tilt’s Phil Ivey and Tom “durrrr” Dwan.

As for his personal life, the day after his win, he moved into a new home with his girlfriend and has made it known that he intends to propose to her in the near future.
