This former investment banking executive has only ever enjoyed poker as a hobby, but this summer he has proven that this poker hobby has developed into a skill. This skill has brought him to the final table of the World Series of Poker, 10,000 dollar, No Limit Texas Hold’em Main Event. He has achieved the incredible feat of making the group now known as ‘The November Nine’. Not bad for a poker hobbyist.
He entered the main event through a small poker league in his home town of Chappaqua, NY. As part of the achievement, he and several other members of the league paid a portion of the 10k dollar entry fee. As a result, he has agreed to share 20% of his winnings with each of the participating contributors. A share of 200, 000 is what they are aiming for right now, and it only going up from here.
He intends to spend the next four months with his wife and family, for a time, on vacation in Europe. As a member of this talented group of poker players, there will be great competition to enjoy beginning on November 7th at the Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
