He placed 12th in the PL Holdem event for $49k, 139th and 48th in two NL Holdem events for $14k combined, 24th in the World championship mixed event for $16k, 13th in the NL 2-7 lowball draw for $26k, and 14th in the PL Omaha with rebuys for $61k.

With the conclusion of Event #28, he is the only player to have cashed 6 times in the 2008 World Series of Poker to date. He is a serious contender to match or beat the record for most WSOP cashes in a single year, which is currently set at 8 cashes and held by four players: Michael Binger, Chad Brown, Phil Hellmuth, Humberto Brenes.
